A-Schill

Alexander Schill, born on 18th July 1984, has grown up with horses. From a very young age he accompanied his parents – both of them successful show jumpers – to national and international shows. At the age of six he started riding as a young talent on his first pony Rubin.

On his first show ponies Ramira, Misty Willow, Tobru and My little Champ, Alexander was nationally and internationally successful in pony jumping competitions up to 1,25 metre. When he as too old for ponies, Alexander Schill started riding horses and was soon able to keep up with the top riders in Baden-Württemberg. He was then coached by Thomas Kohler.

At the end of 2003, when Alexander Schill had successfully finished his Fachhochschulreife (advanced technical college entrance qualification), he started his basis military qualification in Dillingen/Donau. After that, the ambitioned talent was appointed to the Bundeswehr sports promotion section in Warendorf. There, Alexander received one year of intense training with Manni Kötter as well as the examination for “Trainer C”.

In 2005, Alexander Schill was awarded the “Goldene Reitabzeichen”, the prestigious 'gold medal' for ten victories at PSG level and above. Since 2006, he is a member of the JPMorgan Asset Management Team (Preis der Zukunft).

During his professional education, riding had to take a back seat until Alexander Schill had his examination as in industrial clerk in 2008. Today he can be seen at the big arenas all over Europe as a show jumper. In his young career, he has already entered lots and lots of placements, victories and championship titles in the books.
